death clock or countdown of some sort? i've heard about a type of clock/countdown that once it reaches a certain hour, it will signal the end of the world or something along those lines. i saw it on a documentary when i was younger, so i know its real. but i just can't recall what it actually is..
i think also, that it records time for the entire history of the earth. it works like a time line. at certain hours, or points in time, would be marked events in history. i'm not certain, but i am pretty sure that this is how it worked. .Baden. replied: "wow...interesting....let me know when you find out!!! =D"

They couldn't see past that date to record it, so therefore the world would end...but I'm still alive so I take it that wasn't the case.

The clock is adjusted periodically by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, depending on world conditions. The closest it has ever been to midnight is 11:58, from 1953, when the US and USSR both tested nuclear bombs within a month of each other, until 1960, when it was felt that changing public attitudes about the survivability of a nuclear war made it less likely. You could use server side PHP to somewhat emulate a countdown clock, but you would have to actually keep refreshing the browser with the new data which would require a lot more resources from your server. The php approach is not recommended as it will just be slow and jerky.
With myspace the best bet is to source the javascript elsewhere and embed it in the page as you can not use PHP."

ok so latley ive just been feeling low. most of it has to do with me just being lonley or something. most people would say that i am a attractive person when i go out i get alot of girls that check me out. latley ive also been getting alot of my girl friends confessing that they like me but im a shy quiet person i dont get into relationships or anything like that. i got in one about half a year ago and we broke up about 3 months ago. nothing i did i just got the whole im a nice guy thing and its not you and the girl cheated on me. latley my friends all seem to have breaking up with their long term girlfriends months after each other. they all were feeling low and would call me to go out with them i guess to get it off there minds, theyd always come to me to tell me there problems and i help them. im talking about 4 different guys and now they are all back with there girlfriends and im not needed no more i guess. they know me and my girl broke up but ive acted like it didnt affect me(im good at that) thats why they came to me but really its been bothering me. my ex wouldnt even look at me when i see her and i didnt even cause the breakup. i cant seem to get girls anymore. im starting to hate pretending im fine with not having a girlfriend and that im better off without one.
when me and my first started talking things were so good i really liked her, i use to wake up to text messeges from her saying all these nice things and she use to call me everyday at lunch. i remeber days when id just sit there and watch the clock countdown. usually at nights i go out but there was days when i just wanted to stay in and talk to her on the phone for hours (i never do that stuff) sleep for 2 and then wake up and work a 11 hour shift. then things just got bad. now when i see her she dosent look at me i dont look at her and really i dont even know why the both of us are even doing this. its seriously gotten to the point where i dont even remeber anymore and im past it all. i liked her so much before i shared good times with her i dont even want to be mad at her anymore. i never would of thought it would turn out like this. i dont know how it turned so bad in such a short space of time. shes been stubborn about this whole thing and so have i, the last time i time we tryed speaking she wanted to do it through text she didnt want to see me or talk to me and she was being rude whenever i asked her questions but i know its because i was asking her questions she didnt want to answer. i have friends that are friends with this girl and they talk to her but its always behind my back. they try hiding it and when we cross paths with a group of mutal friends it makes everything awkward. half of the people are with me half are with her. i just want to end this whole thing im not saying we have to be the best of friends. i would like to put the whole thing behind me and start fresh because now when i think about it i had more good times with her then bad. i dont know how to do this because like i said before she can be stuborn. i was thinking of sending her a simple email saying "hey i would like to talk to you" and if i get a reply then i can tell her. but i really dont want to get turned down because shes thinking on the level that she would have one up on me, thats how the conversation turned out last time. all i know is when i think of her i feel like crap and when i see her i feel like crap and i dont know but i might even still like her a little bit i dont know how she feels about the whole thing but if you were to look at us you would think we hate each other maybe she does but i dont have a problem with her. should i even bother? what should i do? should i just take it a lesson learned? im stll learning.
